Thank you SO MUCH!!
Thank you to everyone who's made Hog and Rod a success for five years. Wow - what a way to end things!! Fantastic crowd, incredible dinner, and a full night of outstanding music.
We couldn't have asked for anything better - except sunshine for the Show and Shine.
It's with a great deal of sadness that the committee brings this event to an end. But who knows - from the ashes of what's come before, maybe something new will be born.
It's been a fun journey, and we're all glad we could share it with you. The memories will stay with us all forever.

Come on Out to A&W Family Restaurant for Dinner with the Hog & Rod Members and attendees for Hog & Rod...from 3pm to 9pm Today !!!
Tickets for the Dinner and Dance Saturday night will be on sale under the tent.
SATURDAY: Come on Over to IGA Garden Market starting at 11am with the Show & Shine until 2pm. Ron from IGA will be grilling again this year.
2pm Parade Starts from IGA to the underpass, downtown on King Street to VanHorne Ave, South to Princess Street, to Kirkpatrick, south on Duke Street, left turn to the overpass, left on Hwy 17 to Colonization Ave, then finish at the Fairgrounds.
2:30pm Beer Gardens Opens, Games to be held (even if it rains, some inside games, BUT it wont so we will have lots of fun outside as well)
4:00pm Trophy Presentation for the Show & Shine
4:30pm Start the serving of dinner, this will take some time as we are BBQing steaks, please all be patient
7:00pm Streamline on Stage
9:00pm Sensational Hot Rods party the night until 1am

Final Details for 2008 Event

Ok Everyone......we have finalized some details for the 2008 event. This being the 5th anniversary as well as the Final Hog & Rod event....we want it to be the best one yet.
Here are the plans for the 2008 Event !!!
Friday, June 27th does not change. The pre-registration and meet and greet will again happen at the A&W Family Restaurant in Dryden from 3pm to 9pm with music under the big tent as well as being able to enjoy a fabulous meal inside the restaurant or bring it outside to enjoy while meeting other hog and rodders.
Saturday will start again at Garden Market IGA. We will have final registration with the Main Event Show & Shine going from 11am to 2pm. During this time IGA employees will be hosting a BBQ for you to enjoy lunch before we have these great rides parade throughout the streets of Dryden heading back to the Dryden Agricultural Fairgrounds where there will be games and a beer gardens starting at approximately 2:30pm.
The trophy presentation will take place around 4pm with a Fabulous BBQ Steak Dinner with assorted salads starting at approximately 4:30pm.
Starting at 7pm enjoy the entertainment of STREAMLINE until 9pm when THE SENSATIONAL HOT RODS entertain you for the rest of the evening.
During all the events at the Fairgrounds, you can bid on many fabulous prices in the Silent Auction with the funds going to the Hog & Rod Charities.
Ticket Prices: Registrants - $10 which includes 2 dance tickets, $10 for each dinner ticket. Non-Registrants - $15 for each dinner ticket, $10 for each dance ticket or $20 for a dinner/dance ticket.

Yes, we've already started making plans for Hog and Rod 2008 - our 5th annual rally! The Sensational Hot Rods will be returning - and their new show is phenomenal! And opening for them? STREAMLINE! This is a show you will NOT want to miss.

The History of Hog and Rod
The concept of Hog and Rod began as an idea of a couple of people. With the help of some dedicated individuals the idea has since come to life. It is our goal to bring custom motorcycle, classic car and Hot Rod enthusiasts together for a combined rally for all to enjoy. It is not intended to select any one make of car or motorcycle over another. Hog and Rod is to be an annual event for all to come together in the heart of Northwestern Ontario and enjoy!
